Changing the IP Address

I need to change the IP address on one of your Unix machines - P630, AIX5.2.
I plan on using SMIT to perform this function. These are the steps that I have put together so far:
1. Select Communications Applications & Services
- Select TCP/IP
- Select Minimun Configuration & Startup
- Select Network Interface (to change IP Address)
- Select Further Configurations
- Select Stop TCPIP/Daemons
- Select Start Configured TCPIP Daemons
2. Also change IP address in the hosts file in the etc directory.

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of? Do I need to reboot or will stoping and starting TCP/IP be enough?
