tcpdump

does anybody know what the -d -dd and -ddd options are used for ?

-dd Dump packet-matching code as a C program fragment.

-ddd Dump packet-matching code as decimal numbers preceded with a
count.
It's all in the man page.

what i meant by my question is what do those descriptions actually mean. How would i go about using the commands?
