Hello!
I am new to Linux, i have just started using Mandrake. i heard about Lindows and wanted to aks if anyone of u have tried it? What do u think??? thanks jar0 |

well, there are lots of different linux distributions, and if you ask which one people like, you should expect many different answers. personally, i would not reccommend lindows to anyone else who has used a previous distro. i honestly have no experience with lindows, however lindows seems to be targetted at direct converts from windows.
if you do want a suggestion though i am a big advocate of suse linux. suse was my first ever linux OS, and ive stuck with it on my desktop ever since. in the end it will come down to your personal preference. some people will try one distro and stick with it, others will end up using most of them before they find one they like. there are many options, and there will be at least one that you will find more than suitable for your needs. |
