bellmail: lockf(/usr/spool/mail/uucp): permission denied
I keep getting the following errors and I don't know where to look to resolve the problem. Any ideas?
bellmail: lockf(/usr/spool/mail/uucp): permission denied bellmail: lockf(/usr/spool/mail/root): permission denied bellmail: lockf(/usr/spool/mail/daemon): no such file or directory.... AIX O/S on RS6000-IBM |

Try these links for more info - check your directory permissions on /usr/spool/mail and below. Your mail process may be attempting to deliver mail and either can't because of the lock file, permissions, or in the case of daemon, doesn't exist.
