i have about 6 computers in my lab that i want to install a server on. i dont want to have to individually install them. i want to install the server on one pc and have it available on the rest of the pcs. how can i do this? and by the way, all these pcs are using a Linux Redhat 7.2 operating system

You want the *SAME* server running on all boxes?

In theory - NFS! You could export the desired folder(s) and then mount them on each of the boxes! Each box would then need to also execute the necessary startup command!

A web server is what you want?

After reading your thread i seem to understand that you want to set up a web server, and be able to access this web page from your other pcs'...
Normally is included with RH7.2 the apache rpms', which should help you set up the web pages.
Apache is really easy to get up and started...
apache

Try this link...

Hope this will help...
