I have written a script which output the contents of a DB. No the DB is not clever to check this or flag and there is no command for the tool to flag this, which human intervention.
But i need to check to see if there are duplicate enteries in the file output and flag them.
So the example below there is duplicate enteries for actlni02 and allocd01.
I need your help please.
In a production system, i've seen many running process as follow:
sh -c ./pathname/shellname
what exactly the flag option -c is used for?
ive tried to look at the man page, but it doesnt say much.

I did very stupid mistake and lost all my crontab enteries on root prompt.
Please help me to solve this issue.
i did entry on root prompt like this.
crontab /home/back.cron
and enters
but when i enter crontab -l so its only showing 1 entry defined in back.cron

I would like to know if there's any option to use with the du command so that I can list only the files/directories on the current filesystem... I usually use

i am trying to patch a solaris 10 server using live upgrade.
issue is, when i create a new BE and activate it during reboot the file system that are mounted but doesnt have an entry in vfstab are automatically added in vfstab of new BE.

We dont have access to aix source code and i have a doubt.
The flag SC_NO_RESERVE, is it got to do anything with the failover?
If the flag is set the paths are going to failed state. If flag is not set everything comes up fine after failover.

Why is the "human readable" flag changing the behavior of du? And while I'm at it, can you make du only look at files, not directories. CHECKRAD(5) File Formats Manual CHECKRAD(5)NAME
checkrad -- See if a user is (still) logged in on a certain port.
SYNOPSIS
checkrad [-d] nas-type nas-ip nas-port login session-id
DESCRIPTION
Checkrad is used by the radius server to check if its idea of a user logged in on a certain port/NAS is correct if a double login is
detected.
Returns: 0 = no duplicate, 1 = duplicate, >1 = error.
OPTIONS -d Enable printing of debugging informations.
nas-type
Type of port/NAS. Can be one of:
o ascend
o bay
o cisco
o cisco_l2tp
o computone
o cvx
o digitro
o dot1x
o livingston
o max40xx
o mikrotik
o mikrotik_snmp
o multitech
o netserver
o other
o pathras
o patton
o portslave
o pr3000
o pr4000

The "other" type cause checkrad to skip any check and always returns 1.
nas-ip IP address of the NAS to check.
nas-port
The NAS port to check (may be ignored by some nas-type).
login The login name to check.
session-id
Session to check. (actually ignored by all nas-type)
