Serial connection.
Have you tried troubleshooting using the serial port? You might get more information from there instead of a monitor and keyboard. It certainly sounds like you have some kind of hardware problem. If you dont know how to serially connect, then try using a minimum configuration of the Ultra 10 and see if you can narrow it down to a component. Check out the info below and good luck.

     The trm driver supports PCI SCSI host adapters based on the Tekram TRM-S1040 SCSI ASIC.
