Putty Colors for Directories

Greetings,
This is another question about changing colors in a PuTTy window/screen.

I'm on a WindowsXP machine. My Putty window has a black background and any directories listed are in a deep blue. These are very hard to read. I'd like to change the colors of directories whenever they get displayed (i.e: with ls -l).

I know to right-click on the top bar and select Change Settings >> Window >> Colours. But I cannot figure out how to change the color on directory names. I think I've changed just about everything else, though!

Thoughts?

Thanks for any tips or tricks.

Got it~! I changed the ANSI Default Blue from the default blue to a light purple (in my case). I guess now, my Putty window thinks light purple is blue. It works.
