SAP (Service Access Point)

In the OSI model there is a thing called SAP. I can't find information about it...
The only thing i found is this:
Quote:
The SAP is a conceptual location at which one OSI layer can request the services of another OSI layer.
Does anybody know where i can find more explanations about SAP????

thanks in advance!
