You didn't get my question.

I am using PUTTY only to connect to UNIX machine. After opening file i am not able to do "select all" and then paste it in windows "Notepad".

So i am asking how to get all the file text from UNIX to Windows Notepad?

I did get your question but I thought you were a bit more flexible or new the command "cat" and how to enlarge the number of lines being displayed in a putty session. Nevertheless...

Edit your Putty profile so that you have a sufficient buffer for number of lines needed to display that whole file.
Then use the command "cat" to display it on your terminal session. Scroll up to the start of the output of cat and mark it with your mouse.
Since you know putty, you will know it is then saved into your buffer and you can paste it into notepad.
