VNC Troubles
hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I been having some trouble setting up Xvnc on my Solaris 10 5/08 system. I can connect to the box with a vncviewer and I can login. but once i login and load a session like CDE or JDS i lose my connection. the best that i can figure is that the sessions aren't configed correctly. I also have a Solaris Express Dev 1/08 installed on laptop. I setup VNC on it as well and i haven't had any problems out if it. I used the same process setting up both systems. this is what is really bothersome. any suggestions are welcome.

I fixed the problem, it was a simple mistake. I forgot to chown the home directory after creating my non-root user. this caused problems writing to my folder at login.
Thanks for the help. |
