Smile pERL SCRIPT FOR MONITORING DATE/TIME STAMPS FOR START AND STOP OF APPLICAION IN A LOG
I need a script that can monitor an application logfile in Unix for the start and stop date/times and if the difference between the two date/time frames is 30 minutes or more to send message?

Can anyone assit me with this?

It will be greatly appreciated.
