removing nfs mount in /etc/default/fs

Hello I have an nfs mounts on my sco system and it is hardcoded in the mount table: /etc/default/fs

I need to unmount these permenantly. can I edit this file manually or do I have to go through scoadmin?

Does it require a kernel rebuild?

Thanks

Ananth
