Yes, here in India it's holiday; not vacation

I'm my own little one-man-company, which means that I'm not bound by any legal constraints. In Germany it is allowed to self-exploit yourself to any degree. Still i try to get 6-8 weeks in a year free of projects. 1-2 weeks i try to take some training and the rest i go on vacation and try to pursue my other interests.

In German we call this "Urlaub", but in we learn in school that the correct translation of this word is "holidays", not "vacation". At that was the case when i went to school, which has been (~sigh~) ages ago.

I noticed that "PRC". You mean People Republic Of China? I am chinese and I know company will pay your vacation if you didn't use it. But those buying and selling things, I don't know, never heard of that!

Holiday is for everyone, right? Vacation just for yourself, I mean you can choose when to take a vacation, but you can't decide which day is holiday, am I right? It's not up to you.

OK, I didn't have one day in my 5 years work experience. Should I cry about that?
