From memory, you'll need to look at how the ftpd service is set up. It requires the '-v' (lower-case 'v') operator to be issued.
It's executed by inetd so you should see a reference to ftp in the inetd.conf file (HP-UX).
Check out: man ftpd & man inetd

Dear All,
Could I change password while login in to ftp server(solaris 10)? I tried to use fileZilla and command prompt(window) to change my password but It can't. Do you have any suggestion ?
Ps. I can't telnet and ssh to the server because of poicy for ftpuser.

I am running the shell program with command;
$ ksh -x <prog_name>
Inside the shell program, I am calling perl with warnings.
I want to capture the entire output as it comes on screen.

colorgccrc - configuration file for colorgcc DESCRIPTION
A colorgccrc configuration file is used to configure the highlighting of the compiler output from colorgcc. SYNTAX
Each line consists of a keyword designating a configuration variable. The keyword is followed by `:' and then one or several values (depending on the keyword). Lines beginning with a hash mark `#' are comments. CONFIGURATION VARIABLES
