I don't know of another way to login. We try to keep our site very professional and we intend for it to be used by computer experts while at work. This is why our site is rather heavily moderated.
A lot of useful sites will be denied to you if you cannot access
any url containing the string "login". But if that is your company's policy you should not try to bypass it. And I don't think that we should try to help you bypass your company's proxy rules.
BTW, once you enter your user name and password you are automatically sent to:
http://www.unix.com/login.php?do=login but we reserve the right to make changes in the precise url used. We buy the vbulletin software and url changes may occur as we upgrade to newer versions of the software.
