Unix Messenger Popup?
Hi guys, I'm new to these forums. I'm more of a Windows guy, but I work at an electronics manufacture company that uses Solaris 10 extensively. We have Sunfire v480 servers set up to do system level testing. Everything is networked so you telnet into any server from any computer in the facility. On one terminal I keep getting messages from the TEs. It's a popup similar to what you see with Windows Messenger Service vi net send. The name of the window is "notebox2" and thats about all the information I have on it. I was wondering what they are doing to send me these messages and how can I fire one back to his terminal.
Thanks in advance Daniel.a |

Hello Daniel, where do you see this message ? When telneting, respectively shell, or in CDE ? Actually, I haven't heard of that thing, the only reference that google provides on this is that you may have "PopChart Server" installed. If not, ask the local admins, someone should have setup this before, right ?
