hi Kapil,

I'm new in this forum also.
Actually i encounter the same problem.

For my case, i use the DAT24 tape driver.
When search using " ioscan " command, it's return

H/W Path Class Description
====================================================
10/0/15/0.2.0 unknown HP C1537A

When use " ioscan -fnC tape " command
It's return nothing. ( At my the other workstation which is working OK should return eg /dev/rmt/0m ).
Swap tape drive to good workstation. Working OK.

Suspect is workstation related but do not know how to solve.
Please help me for solving this problem.

Thanks in advance...

Amy
