changeing the MAC addresses on NICS
I am having trouble changing the MAC addresses on 2 nics i want to configure for IPMP.
I have set local-mac-address?= to true. I have used ifconfig ce0 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx command to set to the mac i want. BUT, when i reboot, they keep reverting back to some other mac address. I have tried to do this when the interfaces were down / up and it makes no difference. Has anyone had this trouble before? this is a new V890 we just got running Solaris 9 - 09/05 Any help is appreciated, thanks! |
