You specify the name servers to use in /etc/resolv.conf.

Format:

domainname yourdomain.com
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx


You can have up to three nameservers listed. Check out http://www.acmebw.com/askmrdns/
