am bootin from a cdrom

this is my first time attempting to install solaris 8. i used to have solaris 2.6 but i erased it from my hard drive so i can install solaris 8.

i think you might be right about the boot cd rom being corrupt because everytime i try to do the install procedure again, i get different error messages.

how do i create another copy of these 3 installation cds when/if the cds themselves are currupt. i dont wanna waste a perfectly good blank cds. please help if you can
